Walking Man

The Walking Man is a 17 metre high sculpture by the American artist Jonathan Borofsky, which stands on the street called Leopoldstrasse, in front of the Munich Re Group Building. The figure is seen taking an energetic step forward. Since its establishment in 1995, the Walking Man, a steel structure with fiber glass mats, has become an outstanding landmark of the city.
