Nationals of the following countries require a visa permit to enter Singapore: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Myanmar, People's Republic of China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen.
All other nationals do not require a visa for up to a three months visit.
Applications for a visit visa may be lodged at the nearest Embassy or Consulate of Singapore. Prior to submitting the application for a visit visa, ensure that the following documents are in place:
Valid travel document (minimum validity = 6 months);
Onward / return ticket;
Entry facilities to next destination;
Sufficient funds to stay in Singapore and
Visa for Singapore (if applicable)
While UAE nationals do not need visas to visit Singapore, citizens of a range of countries across the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia require one. With the appointment of Omeir Travel Agency as its visa processing agency, the Singapore Embassy in Abu Dhabi will no longer accept individual walk-in applications, effective from 1 August 2008. Individuals are advised to go directly to Omeir Travel to apply for their visas.

Applications for Singapore visas have been outsourced to three visa processing agencies. These agencies will liaise with the Singapore Consulate for the submission and collection of the visas for the applicants. The visa processing fee payable is AED 72.00 for each visa. This processing fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the applications. There is also a service fee of AED 50.00 for each visa, chargeable by these agencies for their services.
The Singapore Consulate will however continue to offer emergency visa processing.
All holders of non-regular Travel Documents must consult the Singapore Consulate General in Dubai or the Singapore Embassy in Abu Dhabi on visa requirements to visit Singapore.

One recent passport-sized color photograph (to be pasted on the top right-hand corner of Form 14A) which meets the following requirements:
Image must be taken within the last 3 months
Photograph should be in color, must be taken against a white background with a matt or semi-matt finish
Image must show the full face and without headgear (headgear worn in accordance with religious or racial customs is acceptable but must not hide the facial features)
Photocopy of the applicant's passport bio-data page. Please ensure that the passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry

Letter of Introduction (LOI) may be issued by a local contact in Singapore. Any Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident can act as a local contact. For visa applicants intending to attend business negotiations or discussions in Singapore, the local contact must be a Singapore registered corporation. If you are not able to furnish a LOI from a local contact, you may approach your Embassy or Ministry of Foreign Affairs to issue a LOI to support your visa application.
