Turkish Airlines launches flights to Moroni in the Comoros

Turkish Airlines has added Moroni, which is the biggest city and the capital of Comoros Union, to its list of destinations.  Flights to Moroni operate three times per week with a stopover in Seychelles.

Comoros Union consists of three big islands which are named The Big Comoros, Anjuan and Moholi . Following the addition of Moroni, Turkish Airlines now reaches 122 countries with 304 destinations worldwide; 53 of which are in Africa.

Comoros was known as "the moon islands" by Arab mariners and also named "perfume islands" by European sailors because it has numerous scented plants such as  honeysuckle, orchid and gardenia.

Comoros is a Muslim country and Halal food is available everywhere.
