Emirates Offers Special Fares to Light Up Diwali

Emirates has announced special fares to India celebrating Diwali, the festival of lights.

The special fares are valid for Economy Class and Business Class return tickets to all Emirates destinations within India. Fares are valid for outbound travel on or before the 20th October 2011.

Fares start from AED 1,240 to Chennai return in Economy Class and AED 3,030 to Chennai in Business Class.

"The UAE has a large concentration of Indian expatriates and passenger traffic between the two countries continues to grow each year. The introduction of special fares for the annual Diwali celebration will enable Indian expatriates, who celebrate the 'Festival of Lights', to travel home and spend time with their families," said Khalid Bel Jaflah, Emirates Vice President Commercial UAE Sales.

India remains one of Emirates' most important markets with 185 weekly flights into the country.

In addition to incredible on-board comfort Emirates Business Class passengers travelling to Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore can enjoy the added luxury of a complimentary chauffeur drive service on arrival in India. Emirates Business Class passengers travelling to and from Mumbai can also unwind in Emirates' dedicated Business Class lounge within the airport.

Emirates operates to 10 destinations within India including; Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calicut, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram.
