Yas Viceroy, Abu Dhabi’s most iconic address, is proud to announce its continued association with Gourmet Abu Dhabi 2012. Throughout the event Yas Viceroy has assembled an exceptional programme of some of the world’s most talented and distinguished chefs.
Between February 9th and 12th 2 Michelin Starred Master Chef Mauro Uliass will be resident at Yas Viceroy’s award winning Nautilus restaurant. Chef Uliass has designed a sumptuous A la Carte Seafood Menu especially for Gourmet Abu Dhabi and Yas Viceroy. Chef Uliass gained his kitchen experience under famed Chef Lucio Capannari and opened his first restaurant in 1990 together with his sister after discovering a passion for research and experimentation with ingredients.
Between February 14th and 17th the Yas Lounge will host Master Pâtissier Christina Tosi, the 2 Michelin Starred owner and chef of Momofuku Milk Bar, dubbed "one of the most exciting bakeries in the country" by Bon Appetit magazine. Chef Tosi, who is famed for including unusual ingredients like potato chips, pretzels, cornflakes and ground coffee into her creations, has designed a special dish, the Yas Viceroy/Milk Bar cookie which consists of black tea, kataifi, sesame brittle, dried apricot, and pistachio nut to celebrate her participation in the event at Yas Viceroy. Additionally, two further specially designed Valentine’s Day treats will be available only at Yas Viceroy.
Alongside its resident guest chefs Yas Viceroy will also host a number of exclusive events. On February 12th at 3pm, Yas Viceroy’s will host the Châteaux Industry Workshop where guests will learn how each vintage is made in the château and get to know the how’s and the why’s of each vintage creation.
At 7pm on February 12th the hotel will host the 6 course taster Château Dinner featuring Celebrity Master Chef George Calombaris with wines paired by Torbreck Vintners. Guests will be offered an opportunity to go behind the TV cameras and taste the cuisine of celebrity chef George Calombaris together with one of Australia’s finest, Torbreck Vintners.

On February 20th Yas Viceroy’s Ballroom will host International Master Chef Roy Brett when he presents his 6 course Scottish Dinner. Edinburgh Chef Brett brings to this special themed event a unique menu that blends sustainability with seasonality.

On February 22nd in the grand setting of the Yas Viceroy Ballroom, Michelin Starred Master Chef Rodrigo de La Calle and Guest Mixologists will present a one-of-a-kind 6 course Mixologist Dinner paired with cocktails.
