April 22- The tenth Airport Show is all set to begin from April 25, 2010. The show is the only one of its kind in the region that focuses on airport construction, operations, technology and services — all opportunities worth AED235 billion (US$64 billion). The show will run till April 27 at the Dubai Airport Expo under the patronage of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA).
This year, there are more than 223 delegates from 34 countries participating in the show. Among these include China, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, and Switzerland.
Talking about the show, Jamal Al Hai, SVP Strategy & Development at Dubai Airports said: “Dubai International is the sixth busiest airport internationally in terms of passenger flow. The airport serves over 130 airlines flying to over 220 destinations across six continents. Hosting the Airport Show in Dubai is a reiteration of the emirate’s standing within the global aviation industry.”
