Emirates Airlines raised more than $1 billion and now plans to receive its fifth Airbus A380 super jumbo next week, and another by the end of the year. Emirates Airlines is the biggest airline in the Middle East and the world’s top buyer of the A380 plane.
The Dubai based carrier says it will receive four more of the double decker aircraft next year. Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, said the airline is in a financially secure position. The carrier received a total of $1.13 billion in financing from Doric Asset Finance, and Citigroup.
