International Air Charter (IAC) expects a 50% increase in demand for its chartered flight services to Saudi Arabia during Ramadan this year compared to 2008. IAC is an independent private charter jet broker. People have become more aware of the flexibility and practical value of using chartered jet services. IAC bases its positive forecast on the Kingdom’s consistent strong performance in the tourism sector.
This year tourism is expected to generate up to $7 billion in annual revenues for the Kingdom. Makkah and Madinah are important destinations for travelers performing Haj and Umrah, so IAC has increased its fleet. IAC managing partner for the Middle East said chartered jet services are a practical travel solution during Ramadan, especially for “affluent travelers who are looking to avoid long queues, extra paperwork, and other time consuming formalities of commercial air travel.”
