British Airways will begin new thrice weekly service on 25 October from Gatwick to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt and to Male in Maldives. The new flight services will operate on a Boeing 777 aircraft with three classes – Club World, World Traveler, and World Traveler Plus. The airline has previously offered service to Sharm El Sheikh but this is the first time it has flown to Maldives. Hotels can be booked at the BA.com website, which features a wide range of good value accommodations including luxury five star hotels and independent properties in Sharm El Sheikh and the Maldives.
Area commercial manager for the Middle East said launch of the new services is consistent with their “corporate strategy of servicing routes which are expected to yield high demand”. Paolo De Renzis said their research indicates the new routes have great potential.
