Bahrain Air announced it is expanding in the sub-continent and is preparing to begin flight services to Mumbai, its third destination in the area. Bahrain Air is a private national carrier that operates in MENA countries and the Indian sub-continent. Director of Commercial Operations and Planning for Bahrain Air said they are excited about the new service. He said Mumbai is one of the biggest markets in the region offering significant opportunities for growth in the future.
Bahrain Air will begin daily non-stop flights form Bahrain to Mumbai will in July 2009 in order to meet increased customer demand. Flight 25B617 will depart Bahrain International Airport at 23:00 and arrive in Mumbai at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 04:40. Flight 25B18 will depart from Mumbai at 05:30 and arrive in Bahrain at 06:50.
