ABU DHABI ââ¬â€  Indiaââ¬â„¢s largest privately-owned airline, Jet Airways has started its services linking Delhi and Mumbai with Abu Dhabi. Mohammed Al Balooki, Director , marketing, Abu Dhabi Airport Company (ADAC), who welcomed the Indian air carrier at a ceremony held at Abu Dhabi Airport, said that this year four airlines have launched their operations to Abu Dhabi and by the year-end the total number of airlines operating on the sector would increase to 39-40.He said that the increase in services on two key routes between India and Abu Dhabi is expected to attract immediate interest from travellers in both countries . ââ¬Å“The services will benefit both UAE and Indian businesses, expatriate residents and tourists alike,â⬠ added Al Bulooki.Jet Airways has one flight each to Delhi and Mumbai daily, which will be increased by winter this year or summer next year.The non-stop flight, which departs from Mumbai at 21:35 LT (local time) and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 23:25 LT will depart from Abu Dhabi at 00:15 LT, arriving in Mumbai at 04:50 LT.From the Indian capital, New Delhi, another aircraft will depart at 21:00 LT and arrive in Abu Dhabi ââ¬â€  shortly after the Mumbai flight ââ¬â€  at 23:35 LT. The return flight departs Abu Dhabi at 00:25 LT arriving in New Delhi at 05:20 LT. This greater air connectivity between the two countries will undoubtedly fuel regional growth in trade and investmentIn a bid to highlight its arrival in the UAE capital, the airline said that services from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai and New Delhi will be offered at (one-way) introductory prices of Dh450 and Dh500 respectively with many connecting flights to cities within India costing around Dh250 extra.Return economy fares start at Dh1,000 to Mumbai and Dh1,100 for Delhi. Fares in Premiere, Jet Airwaysââ¬â„¢ business class, start at Dh1,700 for one-way and Dh2,500 for a return ticket to Mumbai. Premiere fares for Delhi are Dh1,750 one-way and Dh2,550 return.
