Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air, has introduced an online check-in service as part of its efforts to improve customer service. Gulf Air passengers flying out of Bahrain can now use the gulfair.com online service to check in, 24 hours in advance and up to 90 minutes before scheduled departure of the Gulf Air flight. Passengers can also use the online interactive seat map to change their seat and print their boarding pass before going to the airport.
The airline said the new online check-in service is currently available only in Bahrain but will be rolled out across the rest of the Gulf Air network over the next few weeks. The service is currently available only in English, but will also be available in Arabic beginning in April. Samer Majali, Gulf Air CEO, said “Web check-in is an important addition to the Gulf Air travel experience we offer our customers and we are prioritizing rolling out the service across our network as soon as possible.”
