will begin flights to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, after an absence of almost four years, partly due to pressure from the Filipino community. Direct flight service will begin on March 28th and operate four times a week between Manila and Riyadh.
PAL last offered flight service to Riyadh in March 2006 but suspended them for commercial reasons. PAL’s service to Riyadh is preferred by Filipinos because it flies directly to Riyadh – other carriers sometimes make up to two stops. With the resumption of PAL’s flights to Riyadh, Philippine’s flagship carrier will fly to 25 international hubs. The airline now serves 29 domestic airports.
