Qatar Airways has increased the number of flights and upgraded aircraft to several important destinations in Asia. The Qatari flagship carrier has increased the number of flights to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from seven to eleven flights a week. The Indonesian tourist island of Bali will now be served every day from Singapore, up from four times a week.
The airline has also started non-stop service to Jakarta, Indonesia for the first time. Qatar Airways previously operated this service through Singapore. Aircraft used on the Singapore, Bali, and some Kuala Lumpur routes have been upgraded to the Boeing 777 which offers 42 business class seats and up to 293 economy class seats.
