March 28- GMG Airlines, the largest private airline in Bangladesh, will begin flight operations in Abu Dhabi starting with the inaugural Abu Dhabi-Dhaka flight on Monday morning. Area manager of GMG airlines, Razi Ahmed, said the carrier already has daily outbound flights from Dubai, and is starting Abu Dhabi flights early in order to meet the needs of expats in the capital. “The take-off from Abu Dhabi for Dhaka will be at 2:15 am and we will arrive in Dhaka at 10:45 am. The first flight to depart Dhaka for Abu Dhabi will be at 9:10 pm on Sunday evening and it will reach Abu Dhabi at 1:10 am.”
Razi said ticket prices for return flights between Abu Dhabi and Dhaka will range between Dh830 and Dh1020. Customers can purchase their tickets at an Abu Dhabi based Sharaf Travel Agent. GMG, which began operations in 1999 and has carried a total of 23 million passengers, now flies to 8 Middle East and Asian destinations – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bangkok, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Kolkata, Kathmandu, and Karachi.
