April 1- Emirates Airlines was rated the best carrier for travelers from Australia headed for New Zealand, beating Air New Zealand and Australian carriers in terms of value. The survey, which was carried out by Choice, a consumer advice organization in Australia, asked 9,000 members to rate their satisfaction on recent international flights with cost, in flight service, seat comfort, leg room, time, food quality, and check-in process.
Singapore Airlines was rated by Choice members as the best airline to fly with internationally, and British Airways was ranked with the lowest satisfaction rating for flights from Australia to Britain. Singapore Airlines was also chosen as the best airline for 11 out of 12 of the most popular international destinations. Australian carrier Quantas was criticized for not delivering on cost or in-flight service, placing ninth for flights to Britain, and fifth on flights to the United States. Choice advised members to review at least three airlines before booking a flight and consider factors like in-flight service, number of stopovers, and type of plane.
