April 5- Air France-KLM will add two new weekly flights departing from the UAE beginning in May, bringing the total number of flights per week to 30 for its 2010 summer program. Air France will begin a new non-stop service between Abu Dhabi and Paris on May 3. KLM currently flies five times a week from Abu Dhabi to Amsterdam, and Abu Dhabi and Muscat.
KLM will increase its number of morning departures from Dubai from three to six times a week. This flight provides fast connections to Europe, especially France, via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. KLM also offers a daily flight to Paris that takes off just after midnight.
KLM will also add two new daily flights to Dubai departing from European cities, Paris, or the French provinces. “The summer schedule reflects a careful assessment of passenger needs and is in direct response to their feedback. This is the most dynamic market in the Air France-KLM network and the Abu Dhabi-Paris non-stop launch reflects its importance” said Pierre de Saint-Albin, General Manager for the Gulf, Saudi Arabia.
