May 25 – Budget carrier Air Arabia announced on Monday that it will increase the number of weekly flights from Sharjah to Goa, India, to five. This, said the airline, is to meet the growing demand on the route, particularly during the summer months.
“The costal city of Goa continues to attract more and more visitors from the UAE,” said AK Nizar, Head of Commercial Department, Air Arabia. “The airline has decided to increase the frequency of service due to the increased seasonal demand on this popular route, enabling customers to take advantage of great fares and convenient flight timings to plan their ideal itinerary.”
The two additional flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays every week starting June 1 till October 30. Currently, the carrier offers flights to Goa on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
