UAE, 9 May 2012 – British Airways scooped the ‘Best European Airline to the Middle East’ award at the Business Traveller Middle East 2012 awards. The award ceremony took place at the Godolphin Ballroom, Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
The annual awards celebrate the achievements of the best regional and international operators in the Middle East across the hotel, airline, airport and car rental industries. British Airways has won the ‘Best European Airline to the Middle East’ award nine times since 2002.
Paolo De Renzis, British Airways’ Regional Commercial Manager, Middle East said: “The Middle East is a very important market for us and I’d like to thank the readers who voted us for this award. We are committed to making air travel a pleasure for our customers and our aim is to ensure a seamless journey from end to end.
“London is a very popular destination for Middle Eastern travellers and we are looking forward to the busy summer period, particularly since there are so many historic events happening this year, such as the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics. We have grown exponentially since we first started flying to the region 80 years ago and this award reflects our customers’ trust in the airline’s long heritage of expertise and experience.”
British Airways offers Middle Eastern passengers convenient connections to destinations across Europe, America and Canada. All fares include free food and drinks, free seat selections within 24 hours of departure, no charge for booking made via debit card and no check-in charge.
