If you want to be one of the first to travel on the world’s longest non-stop flight from Dubai to Panama City on February 1 2016, you will have to shell out Dh6,655 for a roundtrip for an Economy seat on an Emirates Boeing 777-200LR aircraft. The Business Class seats for the inaugural flight are not available for booking – perhaps blocked for the dignitaries who will be traveling on the flight.
If you do want to travel Business Class you can leave on February 2 2016 and be prepared to pay Dh 18,795 for a roundtrip ticket from Dubai to Panama City. If you want to start your journey in Panama City and fly to Dubai on February 1, a roundtrip ticket from Panama City will cost you US$9,049 – considerably more expensive than the cost of the same flight from Dubai. But that is the price you pay to be part of history.
