
For just Dh 500 you will soon be able to fly from Dubai to the eastern European city of Budapest. Hungary’s low cost carrier Wizz Air is slated to start service next month to Dubai’s brand new Al Maktoum Airport at Dubai World Central from. The airport has just received certification from the UAE avaition authority and passenger service will start from October 27 2013.
While several low cost carriers such as flydubai, airarabia and RAK Airways are already offering attractive fares to South & Central Asia and the MENA region, Wizz Air will make Europe more affordable. With a roundtrip fare of under Euro 200 (you have to add Euro 25 each way for check in luggage and Euro 13 for a large cabin bag), Wizz Air can tempt you to spend a weekend in Budapest.

Hungary has about 60,000 Muslims and there are several mosques (officially called Islamic churches) in Budapest. If you are in the area, you can visit the The Islamic Cultural Centre on 43 Sufrany Street, Budapest 1116. It is close to the Savoya Park shopping mall in District XI of Budapest.
