The first Qatar Airways non-stop flight from Doha to Skopje touched down on Monday, July 17 2017, at Alexander the Great Airport. The new route to the capital of the Republic of Macedonia will be served four times per week with an Airbus A320 aircraft featuring 12 seats in Business Class and 120 seats in Economy Class.
Qatar Airways said in a statement that it was accelerating its expansion plans in Eastern Europe. It will start daily flights to Kiev in Ukraine from August 28 2017 and will soon launch flights to Prague in the Czech Republic.
Qatar Airways will launch 25 new destinations in 2017 and 2018, including Canberra in Australia, Chiang Mai in Thailand, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, San Francisco in the United States, Santiago in Chile and others.
