Turkish Airlines has added two more nations to its global reach by beginning its services to Bogota, Columbia’s capital, and Panama City, capital of Panama. These new points join Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, Boston, Montreal, San Francisco and Miami to bring the total to 14 destinations across the Americas.
M. İlker Aycı, Turkish Airlines’ Chairman of the Board said: “With the launch of the Panama City and Bogota flights, Turkish Airlines has increased its number of destinations in the Americas to 14, strengthening its flight network across Central and South America. We will also add Atlanta to our extensive network later this month and will continue to expand our reach in the Americas.”
With numerous flights connecting Istanbul with the Middle East, this opens up opportunities for travelers from the region to explore the exotic destinations of Bogota and Panama City.
Visitors to Bogota should not miss the Gold Museum which has more than 30,000 pre-Hispanic gold artifacts on display. And while you are in Bogota visit the Lebanese restaurant Al-Rawabi which serves falafel and other Middle East dishes – we do not have confirmation if they use Halal meat but if you are in Bogota please find out and let us know.
