The world’s tallest building will be home to the world’s first Armani Hotel, designed by Giorgio Armani. Another brand designed by the designer will be added to Dubai’s luxury portfolio when The Palazzo Versace Resort opens its doors later this year.

Sheikh Mohammed has led an aggressive expansion drive of Jumeirah Group, which is a member of Dubai Holding. The group plans to have 60 properties either under development or in operation, by 2012.
