A branding expert says Lebanon’s branding efforts will help transform that country into one of the world’s top business and tourist destinations. The Director of Strategy and Brand Communication for BrandCentral said Lebanon has emerged “as one of the few positive stories in 2009 with remarkable growth in its tourism industry and overall economy.”
Ibrahim Lahoud said that many around the world are not aware of what Lebanon has to offer tourists in addition to its cedar trees, and this gap in knowledge must be filled by promoting Lebanon. He recommended creating districts dedicated to different business and technological activities as a way to enhance “Brand Lebanon” as business destination.
