ANC Holdings partnered with Amusement Whitewater (AWW) for $10 billion of new projects over the next five years. The deal will give ANC Holdings a significant share of the entertainment market in the GCC. ANC Holdings Chairman said they want to take AWW “anywhere in the GCC where we can build and create parks.” AWW and its partners ANC Holdings and Flag Holdings – based in Abu Dhabi, will develop new theme parks in the GCC in the coming years.
Chief Executive officer of AWW estimates the value of the entertainment and leisure industry in the UAE at about $30 billion. Duarte Marquis said this figure changes daily as new projects are started and others are delayed. The partnership between ANC Holdings and AWW means that an all-in-one package can be offered to clients.
