Oman’s Ministry of Tourism will participate in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) exhibition being held from May 4 to 7 in Dubai, it was learnt on Thursday. Oman Air will also have a pavilion, whilst other companies from Oman will be in attendance sharing stand space. This year’s show, said Khalid Al Zadiali, Ministry of Tourism’s director of tourism events, is highly anticipated since the number of participants will more than that of last year’s. “Arabian Travel Market is a key pillar in our long-term plan to establish Oman as a regional travel and tourism hub and we expect to see increased visitors from the Sultanate attending this year’s show,” he added.
“We are dedicated to promoting the Sultanate, with a particular focus on the GCC market. The healthy growth of travel and tourism in the recent years along with the investment initiatives underway and the growing worldwide awareness of Oman’s tourism potential are just some of the indicators that we are on track with our vision.”
Arabian Travel Market is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president and prime minister of the UAE, ruler of Dubai, and under the auspices of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Government of Dubai.
