Chefs at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s fine dining option, Ristorante Cavallino, have unveiled their special Italian gourmet menu for the month of February, which pays tribute the culinary delights of Northern Italy.
The five course set menu is designed to bring to life the traditional flavours and cooking styles which originated in Maranello, the home of Ferrari for more than sixty years, and is only available during the month long gourmet festivities in Abu Dhabi.
Using the exclusive ingredients especially brought in from Emilia-Romagna and the age-old recipes drawn from the secret vaults of one of Ferrari’s most known personalities, the Cavallino special February menu is set to delight the most ardent ‘foodies’ and Italian connoisseurs.
“We are proud to present this special menu to the gastronomes of the UAE,” said Massimo Falsini, Executive Chef at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. “Every course on the menu has been carefully selected to represent an element of our Italian heritage. From the Canapé which is inspired by recipes of Emilia mothers to the Pasta dish that is based on a well-guarded secret recipe drawn from the personal diary of one of Ferrari’s historic drivers, Tazio Nuvolari, devised by his mother. This recipe can only be enjoyed here at Ristorante Cavallino.
“Authenticity doesn’t stop at the recipes,” continued Falsini. “The ingredients we use in each course are 100% organic, selected from top, certified produce of the Emilia-Romagna region. This includes, for example, the finest 12 year aged Balsamico DOP, fresh black truffles and 36 month-aged Parmigiano Reggiano which can only be found in the most exclusive dining spots around the world. We combine the best of ingredients to create an infusion of authentic, traditional Italian culinary delights, presented with modern flair.”
The special February set menu will be available at Ristorante Cavallino every day throughout February for just AED 250 per person.
Ristorante Cavallino, inspired by one of the first restaurants to open in Maranello, Italy in the early 1940’s, is one of six unique restaurants at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi offering guests a wide variety of Italian and international delicacies, all made from high quality, fresh ingredients by a team of highly skilled chefs. Restaurants include Mamma Rossella, Il Podio, Pit Stop, Rosticceria Modena and Espresso Rosso, a genuine Italian coffee place.
