For the second time in its three years of operation, Reflets par Pierre Gagnaire stole the show at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2011. Reflets retained the title of Best French Restaurant in Dubai, regained the title of Best European Contemporary Restaurant in Dubai, and became the second restaurant in the history of the awards to win Best Restaurant overall twice.
Winning a Time Out Dubai award is no easy feat. The magazine’s team of food critics visits each restaurant in Dubai, dining anonymously and paying for every meal, in order to arrive at their conclusions. The judging process takes into account not just the quality of food, but presentation, service, ambience and value for money. The Time Out Dubai awards are 100% independent – the only awards in the city that can make this claim. To obtain recognition at the awards ceremony is to achieve something outstanding.
Upon receiving news of the three awards Area General Manager IHG Dubai Festival City Tom Meyer commented,
“At InterContinental Dubai Festival City, we are enormously proud of our wins. It is a true testament to the dedication and passion of the ‘Reflets par Pierre Gagnaire’ team headed by Restaurant Manager Dennis Tels and Head Chef Olivier Biles.”
Receiving such prestigious awards is a commendable feat for the restaurant. Today we celebrate our partnership with Pierre Gagnaire, whose support has been instrumental in achieving all this within our short 3 year history. It is however all about our guests and together with our Reflets team we look forward to doing what we do best, to welcome, delight, surprise and enchant all of our diners here at InterContinental hotel.
