Dubai Festival City canal waters will be set alight this weekend for the Dubai International Dragon Boat Festival which takes off on April 8 and 9.
Apart from the boats going head to head in the racing event, the festival promises to be a riot of colour with activities planned to make the event a perfect getaway for the entire family this weekend. The festival will include activities both on and off the water, such as a bouncing castle and the Connector Kids Corner, catering to the little ones and a live DJ and beach volleyball keeping the adults engrossed.
Dragon boating is a thrilling water sport, full of adrenaline, sportsmanship, strategy and technique. The festival is aimed at targeting communities rather than just individuals and is all about positive team spirit, being healthy, networking and most of all having fun!
