Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Cooler temperatures are enticing food connoisseurs to indulge in decadent al fresco dining at the terrace venues of The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
The end of 2012 saw the beachfront luxury hotel officially launch its beach restaurant, Turquoiz, which is set apart from the hotel as a rustic series of buildings nestled on the pristine, white sand and features a large sunset terrace that prides itself on breathtaking sunset views, while offering fresh seafood and tapas in an unpretentious and vibrant setting.
Turquoiz now turns up the heat on a weekly basis with renowned DJs, including resident DJ Alex Seda, spinning cutting edge music as well as funky urban and pop fusion soundtracks on Thursday and Friday nights.
Other outdoor options throughout the resort are sure to please the most discerning tastes, from the terrace of 55&5th The Grill, inspired by the address of the original St. Regis New York to Sontaya, an exquisite Southeast Asian restaurant set amidst pavilions overlooking shimmering pools, to Mediterranean-infused Olea, the all-day dining venue where Friday Brunch with a view and Saturday Arabic buffet satiate guests as they take in panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf.
“The temperatures just now are ideal to be outdoor while indulging in a sumptuous meal. At our venues, we’ve made it even more enticing with our award winning cuisines, a terrace at every venue, breathtaking ocean-views and the bespoke St. Regis service.” said General Manager John Pelling.
