The second annual Dubai Food Festival started on Friday the 6th of February, attracting celebrity chefs and food-lovers across the region. The 23-day event revolves around four main themes – Emirati cuisine, homegrown concepts, multicultural dining and street fare, as well as international chefs and restaurants. Two of the festival highlights include the ever-popular Beach Canteen taking place at Kite Beach in Jumeriah, and the regions first Food and Film; which is where 11 food-inspired films will be screened and food to match the plot will be served.
The festival is to bring a few other events such as the regions first Middle East Food & Travel Blogger Conference held on the 20th of February, in which invitees will have the opportunity to hear from the biggest names in the social media industry including Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. There will also be a Dine on the Creek event in which international celebrity chefs will bring their renowned cuisines aboard the Emirate’s iconic dhows.
The DFF 2015 ends on the 28th of February, and is an event tourists and residents alike would enjoy.
