The German National Tourist Office (GNTO) together with its partners is participating in the Arabian Travel Market this year to showcase Germany as a destination for luxury shopping, family vacation and medical tourism. Many of its hospitals and doctors specialize in treating patients from abroad and offer services tailored for the Arab patients. The healthy climate, efficient transportation possibilities, and wide range of shops and cultural attractions also play a part in ensuring that patients and their families feel well looked after in Germany.
Nicole Zaspel, Manager Marketing & Sales and Ahlam Khafagy, Communications Manager, both of whom are new additions to the local representative office of the German National Tourist Board in Dubai, will be attending the ATM as GNTO members.
“It is my pleasure to attend the ATM as a team member of GNTO, and I would like to seize the opportunity to further foster the existing strong tourism relations between Germany and the GCC.” said Nicole, “Germany welcomes increasing numbers of visitors from this region every year. It is in the heart of Europe, the most visited travel region in the world, where it is safe, secure and easy to travel with exclusive diverse experience when it comes to nature, accommodation and hospitality. It is one of the world’s highly recommended destinations for family vacation and luxurious shopping, thanks to the stunning landscapes, unspoiled environments, gastronomic delight and distinctive shopping opportunities”.
The GCC region is considered one of the most dynamic markets for inbound tourism to Germany, and as Ahlam said “There are still many places to explore in Germany by GCC nationals as it is a big country full of traditions, natural beauty and must see destinations. There is always something new and worth to discover and experience by all ages. There are hundreds of shopping centers in Germany that match every style and exceed all expectations.”
