Multinational hotel chains are trying to boost falling occupancy rates by attracting Middle Eastern travelers with special packages and offers such as Arabic-speaking staff, private swimming pools, and butler services. Vice President of Sales and Marketing for South West Asia at Hyatt said the Middle East is and important market and they have developed “a wide range of services to attract business and leisure travelers visiting Germany from this region.”
There are four Hyatt properties in Germany and they provide an Arabic-speaking staff, prayer rugs, and culinary specialties to ensure a comfortable stay for the Middle Eastern guest. The other Hyatt properties in Germany are the Hyatt Regency Cologne, Hyatt Regency Mainz, and Hyatt Park Hyatt Hamburg. The Marriot Berlin offers a special package, valid until 31 August that offers Arabic newspapers and TV channels, prayer rooms, and Arabic-speaking front desk.
