The company @bahrain said when construction of their new project is completed, it will create 2,500 jobs. The company estimates that their project, called @bahrain, will bring in more than 3.5 million visitors a year when it is fully operational. @bahrain is one of the biggest projects in the country under construction over the past five years, covering over one million square meters. The company worked with the consultancy group Monitor Group to develop projections.
A Monitor Group partner said “The strategic concept for @bahrain has proven so compelling that even in the current downturn, investors and partners continue to express unprecedented interest in this unique destination. Aedus was appointed by the Monitor Group to be the master planner while Incognitus will be responsible for venue operations and sustainability consultant.
