Top executives reported that hotels in the Gulf region continue to hire more staff in order to maintain occupancy rates and prevent revenue drop. And, according to a hospitality recruitment spokesman hotels continue to recruit for top key positions, in spite of the international finiancail crisis.
For most hotels in the region, occupancy rates decreased from 83% during the first half of last year to about 73% over the last few months.
