Luxury hotels in the United Arab Emirates are offering Valentines Day specials for mega rich romantics. The Emirates Palace, which bills itself as a seven star hotel, offers the most expensive Valentines Day package in the UAE- a seven day stay for one million dollars. Customers will have a private butler and a chauffeur-driven Maybach luxury car during their stay. Options include helicopter flights, a romantic dinner in suite or on a yacht at sea, use of the Abu Dhabi golf course, and horse riding. A private jet will be on call so guests can make quick shopping trips to neighboring countries.
A hotel employee said they did not expect to sell any of the million dollar deals due to the global economic crisis. Emirates Palace offers a more moderately priced three day Valentines deal for about 500,000 dirhams (136,000 dollars) which includes an in-suite dinner with live music, and a diamond necklace for the lady.
