April 5- Coral International Cape Town has partnered with XL Travel Group, an alliance that is expected to generate extensive returns for Coral International and position it as a preferred hotel throughout the Dubai based hospitality group’s network. XL Travel Group, which recently opened a five star hotel in Cape Town, South Africa, generates annual sales worth $170 million (Dh623.9m). XL Travel Group is spread out across South Africa and involves 92 IATA-recognized travel agencies partnering global travel management organization Radius with a presence in over 70 countries and annual sales in excess of $70 million.
Cii Hotels & Resorts Cape Town, a subsidiary of Cii Holdings, owns Coral International Cape Town, which offers an upscale experience in an ultra-luxurious hotel. “The partnership is a perfect fit for both businesses and will give Coral International Cape Town unique access to XL Group’s vast travel network” said Usman Ahmed, Board Member and Director of the group. The hotel’s general manager said “Coral is the first Gulf brand to open a hotel in Cape Town, bringing their signature Arabian hospitality with world class facilities.”
