April 26- ABB, a power and automation technology group, is implementing the Room Master solution in the Movenpick Hotel, Riyadh. The hotel will be completed in 2011 and is going to be first one in Riyadh to have the ABB system.
The device is known as Room Master will allow guests to control all applications inside their hotel room, including lighting, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning, as well as room access and shading. “The Mövenpick name is a firm favorite for the region’s business travelers due to the quality of our service and attention to detail,” said Paul Papanicolaou general manager of Mövenpick Hotel Riyadh. “ABB’s smart room technology will provide our guests with even more comfort whilst allowing the Mövenpick Hotel Riyadh to be the first green hotel in the capital due to the significant energy savings that we will benefit from.”
