May 26 – Kuwaiti based Al-Kandari Group launched the first stage of its Kenoz Resort project in Ibb governorate, Central Yemen, on Monday. According to details, the project comprises a five-star hotel, 320 villas, 120 chalets, shops, children’s playground and a zoo.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the group Jassim Ali Al-Kandari, said the resort will be built over an area of 500,000 square meters and will be completed in three phases. The first phase will take three years to complete. He hopes the resort will attract Arab and Gulf tourists to Yemen once it is ready.
