Abu Dhabi, 19 June 2011 – Commencing on 12th June, Hakkasan celebrated its first birthday in the capital, in style and with the most glamorous of tastes appeasing Abu Dhabi’s guests’ palates throughout the week with their exclusive anniversary menu.
The Michelin starred restaurant, served a unique anniversary set menu dinner available from 12th-16th June featuring XO Lobster shu mai, King crab and shimeji mushroom dumpling, Wagyu beef, as well as an exquisite three-tiered birthday cake.
One year ago Hakkasan started as a budding gourmet restaurant and has since risen to achieve its much deserved title as the city’s number one hot spot by winning an incredible line up of accolades, such as The Caterer’s Top Outlet Opening of the Year 2010; Time Out Abu Dhabi’s Best Newcomer Restaurant Award 2010; and three category wins at the UAE people’s choice What’s On Awards 2010 ceremony including the Favourite Far Eastern Restaurant, Favourite New Comer and for the Best Chef of the Year 2010.

The 152-cover restaurant will have an additional 88-seat capacity on its ambient outside terrace. The venue will also feature two private dining rooms inside and two semi-private sections outside with stunning luxurious architecture, as well as the Ling-Ling lounge for a more casual retreat. Located on the ground level of the Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel next to Cartier, Hakkasan Dubai will have its own private entrance with valet parking.
Hakkasan Abu Dhabi is open daily from 6pm-2am for dinner, drinks and bar snacks, with last dinner orders taken at 12am; and open for brunch on Fridays and Saturdays from 12-3pm. For reservations please call +971 2 690 7999.
