In celebration of the 40th UAE National Day, Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman & Ajman Hotel Business Group present the unique art of Ayman Mihammad Adel Awwad, a Palestinian-born artist best known for his work in the areas of fantasy art and magic realism.
The exhibition titled “Heritage of Emirates” showcases drawings and paintings reflecting the culture, tradition and rich heritage of the UAE. Awwad opened the exhibition along with Mohammed Al Janahi, Assistant General Manager Ajman Chamber of Commerce; Sami Al Jallaf, Head of Hotel Business Group, Director of Commercial Affairs and Sheikh Hamad Bin Nasser Head of Membership Dept.
Iftikhar Hamdani, General Manager, Ramada Ajman said: “We are celebrating another milestone in the history of the UAE and we are truly proud to be part of this historic celebration. A lot of things have happened in the last 40 years and we want our visitors to know how the UAE successfully progressed all these years. This art exhibition is something unique because it depicts the life of the people of the UAE so I am sure the public will be impressed. Ayman Mihammad Adel Awwad is a renowned artist who exhibited at least two personal art shows in Dubai, and has participated in major exhibits organized by the All-Palestinian Plastic Artists Union in Syria. A member of the UAE Fine Arts Society and the Jordanian Fine Arts Association, Awwad obtained his B.A. Plastic Art degree from Damascus University in 1988. Some 20 of his creations have been acquired by the Sharjah Heritage Museum.
