The Hilton Makkah Convention Hotel opened its doors on April 1 2017 to cater to the needs of pilgrims and also opened up a new option for the meetings and convention sector by offering the first and the largest conference center in the city with majestic views of the Grand Mosque.
Instead of a beach holiday, now convention attendees can benefit from religious cleansing by being close to Islam’s holiest place. The hotel’s conference center is a large pillar-less hall and accommodates up to 1,600 people. The hotel also has three restaurants and a coffee shop that allows guests to enjoy a wide choice of international cuisine.
The Mustafa Restaurant, which opens all day, serves a buffet of international cuisine in an elegant setting. The Azur Restaurant serves Indian and Malaysian cuisine, while Saheten Restaurant serves Lebanese cuisine. Guests can also enjoy a light meal in the informal lounge at El Moltaqa Cafe.
Mark Alaf, General Manager, Hilton Makkah Convention Hotel, said: “We are delighted to welcome guests seeking accommodation in the heart of Makkah.”
The hotel has 764 contemporary designed rooms with spacious bathrooms, including 90 executive rooms, 25 executive suites and 16 hotel suites with views of the Haram. Guests will also enjoy access to the all-day fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment and sports equipment.
The Makkah Hilton Convention Hotel is located about a seven minutes walk from the Haram. A shuttle bus is also available which takes 5 minutes (more during rush hours). For more information call +966 12 565 7000.
