In a strong endorsement of ADNEC’s growing reputation as a world-class developer, ADNEC-owned Aloft Abu Dhabi was named “Best New Hotel in Middle East” at the prestigious Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC), the region’s leading forum for the hotel industry, which concluded last week.
Aloft Abu Dhabi was rewarded for its innovation in design, and judged on criteria including facilities and amenities, design, financial performance and sustainability.
Sanjay Tanna, Business Development Director of ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company) said: “We are extremely pleased with the award; the fact that Aloft was selected among many other ‘more recognised’ brands highlights ADNEC’s strong commitment to innovation and industry leadership. Furthermore, this award is a strong indicator of the imminent success Aloft London ExCeL is set to achieve once it opens in November this year at ADNEC’s venue in the UK capital – ExCeL London.”
Stephan Vanden Auweele, General Manager of Aloft Abu Dhabi added: “It is a privilege to have been recognized by AHIC for our achievements as Best New Hotel. Today’s savvy, design-conscious consumers understand that great style can be both accessible and affordable. The Aloft guests’ experience is next-generation, seamless and accessible and this award is encouraging all of us to provide our guests with this unique experience and everlasting memories”.
Besides its association with the Aloft brand, ADNEC has other hospitality projects under development, including Hyatt Capital Gate.
“Hyatt Capital Gate also set to open later this year, will effortlessly complement the hotel offering that ADNEC currently has; while young forward-thinking travelers stay at Aloft, today’s top business leaders will relish the one-of-a-kind uniqueness that only Hyatt Capital Gate can offer” added Tanna.
ADNEC’s other development projects include Capital Centre, a 23 micro-city of 23 towers adjacent to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Al Ain Convention Centre in the oasis city of Al Ain, and Marasi Village, a residential property development comprising 81 luxurious waterfront villas, located off the Al Bateen channel opposite the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
