To mark the release of David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo early January 2012 worldwide, Zurich’s the Dolder Grand, one of the locations in the film, is offering a package fit for movie aficionados across the region.
The movie director, crew and cast consisted of more than 60 people were on location in Zurich to shoot the Dolder Grand sequences in early December 2010. In the theatrical trailer, its exterior is glimpsed, and in the film, the driveway, reception and luxury Masina Suite can be clearly seen.
Protagonist Lisbeth Salander, played by Golden Globe nominee Rooney Mara, is greeted with “Welcome to the Dolder Grand”, depicting a special Dolder Grand moment in a movie that seems to be enjoying raving reviews by the critics.
