Kids Club
The Rome Cavalieri Kids Club welcomes children of all ages, allowing peace of mind time for parents as they sightsee and shop around the city. This offers a wide selection of bespoke entertainment daily throughout the summer season, for all in-house little guests (aged 4-10). Activities include arts and crafts, entertaining tips from trained magicians, a miniature racing circuit for Formula 1 races with radio controlled-cars and even a funfair with themed games from the USA including a Sombrero Toss, Can Knockdown, and cotton candy stand! Kids can also play a whole host of games, including ping-pong, table football, flywheel, mini-golf, penalties shooting, darts and air hockey.
Children can put their history lessons into practice by joining the gladiator lessons, experiencing the world of the gladiators who fought in the Coliseum two thousand years ago. In the Rome Cavalieri’s private park, overlooking Rome’s skyline, instructors from Rome’s Gladiatorial School will demonstrate ancient combat techniques as well as explaining the life and times of the gladiators. Available for children, and the young at heart, the course provides a mix of sport and culture. A gladiator kit is included with traditional tunic, Roman sandals, belt, protective gloves, and wooden training sword, and on completion students are presented with a medal declaring them a ‘Tiro’, or first level gladiator.
