Notably and unusually located between two runways, Don Mueang International Airport is an 18-hole golf course, which isn’t separated from the runways in any way. A red light warns golfers when plane are landing but access to the course is restricted due to security concerns. At its peak, Don Mueang was the second busiest airport in Asia as measured by passenger volume.
