The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is held in March. It is the best ever book fair held in the Middle East. It sets a platform for 482 exhibitors from 42 countries and is systematized by KITAB, a project initiated by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage and the Frankfurt Book Fair. The aim of the organizers is to make this event interesting and educative as well as serving to inculcate and encourage a love of books and reading in everyone. The event is usually an annual one, looked forward to by many.
