Al Ain National MuseumLying on the east side of Al Ain Oasis, the National Museum brings together the remnants and illustrative findings from the Stone Age until the early days of the United Arab of Emirates.  This museum is a perfect destination for those who are interested in a profound understanding of the cultural life of the region’s past.

The National Museum exhibits old versions of Holy Quraan, and manuscripts illustrating the remarkable phases of the life of a typical citizen during the Pre-Oil era.  The museum also has various archaeological discoveries of the different ages – such as stone tools, ironware, bronze ware, pottery and arrow heads.

The ethnographic gallery includes beautiful Bedouin jewelry, traditional costumes, porcelain and glassware dating back to the Ayubi and Mamluki eras.

Location:

The Al Ain National Museum lies downtown to the east side of Al Ain Oasis. If you are coming from Abu Dhabi, it is on the left side of Zayed bin Sultan Street, near the Murabba’ Roundabout.
