A smaller, but just as expensive shopping mall as the Silk Way City Mall, owned by the Silk Way Group. Located on the Silk Road (Zhibek Zholy), and noticeable from a distance because of its interesting curved glass skylight, Silk Way is a popular hangout spot for shoppers and window shoppers alike.
The two-floored centrally air-conditioned mall contains more than 120 modern, spacious, very nicely illuminated boutiques selling designer clothing and accessories, perfumes, watches and jewelry, and expensive designer-made household products.
A drugstore in the mall sells the most common local drugs at modest prices.
The mall also contains beauty salons and hairdressers.
A number of cafes would pamper you with local and international food and drink as you shop – these are usually crowded at lunch hours, so plan ahead if you want to get a table. Vending machines are also placed at various points in the mall for a light snack or drink.
